NEW ZEALAND NATIONAL TERTIARY 3X3 BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

10 - 11 APRIL 2021

Basketball NZ, in conjunction with University & Tertiary Sport NZ (UTSNZ) will host the annual National Tertiary 3×3 Championship in Wellington on 10-11 April, at the ABS Sports Centre.

Oceania Qualifier for FISU University World Cup 3×3 Basketball

2020 will also see the introduction of a new Oceania qualification tournament for the FISU University World Cup 3×3 event.  The top three teams from the UTSNZ National Tertiary Championship event (female and male) will be invited to Fiji to play against other Oceania teams.  The tournament will be organised by FISU Oceania and take place early July.

The winning female and male teams of the qualifier will then go on to compete at the University World Cup in Xiamen, China in November where they will play against the best university and tertiary teams from around the world.
